Yes! Emmanuel Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest Lutheran denomination in the United States.
At the heart of our faith is the belief that salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not something we earn through our own efforts or good works. Our worship centers on God’s Word, shared through Scripture and preaching, and the two sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
The ELCA is a welcoming, inclusive Protestant denomination that ordains women, married clergy, and LGBTQ+ clergy. We affirm LGBTQ+ individuals and welcome them into all aspects of church life.
At Emmanuel, we seek to live out these beliefs through worship, service, fellowship, and sharing God’s love with everyone in our community.
