Congregation Council

The voting membership of the Congregation Council is comprised of nine members: four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) with an additional five voting members. The pastor(s), executive director, and chief operating officer serve the council in an advisory capacity.

The following people are the current Congregation Council officers: Tom Jackson, President, Sylvia Boynton, Vice President, Carlos Dominguez, Secretary, and Dennis Reustle, Treasurer.

The additional voting members for the Congregation Council are Jeff Heier, Mark Heckler, Marion Andrews, John Rasmussen and Angela Vargas. All members of Council, serve as volunteers.

The Congregation Council has general oversight of the life, finances, and activities of this congregation and in particular its worship life. The Council is charged with the responsibility to ensure that all decisions and actions be done in accordance with the word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
