Please join us on March 8 at 10:00 AM as we celebrate the installation of Pastor Jay Shailer as pastor of Emmanuel Church at Oil Well Road. The Rev. Nicole Eastwood will preach and preside at the installation on behalf of Bishop Suarez.
Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for a reception as we celebrate this joyful milestone in the life of our congregation. We hope you can join us for this special day of worship and fellowship.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES: FEBRUARY 18
11:45 AM - 12:00 PM:
Join us to receive ashes under the Pavilion for a brief service prior to the food distribution.
6:00pm - 7:00pm Service:
Join us as we begin the holy season of Lent for an Ash Wednesday worship service that will include the ancient rite of marking our foreheads with ash to remind us of our total dependence on the promised grace of our Lord Jesus. During our time together, we will celebrate both the sacramental meal, as well as a dinner meal during the worship service. A main course and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side to share. Join us on Wednesdays in the sanctuary for our Lenten worship series, “Walking the Way”. The Holden Prayer Service will begin at 11:30 AM, followed by soup and fellowship in the Life Center.
