Oil Well Road Updates

EXCITING NEWS! Our Temporary Use Permit application for the Modular structure has been Approved!

As noted immediately before the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the County’s Growth Management Department APPROVED our Site Development Plan Insubstantial Change (SDPI) application. This was a major step forward, an one that we were actively working on since the beginning of this calendar year.

Within one day of approval, our Civil Engineers, Bowman (formerly HoleMontes) filed our Temporary Use Permit application for the modular structure. The application has since been APPROVED!

Our General Contractor submitted the signed SDPI to the County’s building permit department to complete the Building Permit application before the start of the holiday weekend. The permit application is now “accepted” and being reviewed. It has cleared the Fire Review, and is pending Floodplain Review, Engineering Review, Planning Review, Structural Review, and Final Type Review. Our GC has engaged an “expediter” to accelerate the county staff’s prioritization of their final reviews.

The reviews should be straightforward and successful, as the most recent “outstanding corrections letter” from the county indicated that the only required correction was the submission of the signed SDPI, which has been done.

As soon as the Building Permit clears all the areas of review and the application is approved, the GC will begin to schedule and mobilize his subcontractors. The GC will also schedule the delivery of the modular unit to the site.

From the date of delivery, our GC plans to complete the building and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy within six weeks. All site work, including landscaping, must be complete for the Certificate of Occupancy to be issued by the County.

We are much closer than we were just a week before! Thanks for your continued patience!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already stepped up to support the students of Emmanuel and Calusa Park Elementary—your generosity is making a real impact!

This Sunday is your last chance to pick an apple from our School Supply Drive tree. All supplies should be returned by July 20.

Out of town? No problem! You can still join in by:

Your support ensures that students in both our congregation and local community are equipped with the tools they need to begin the school year feeling confident and ready to learn.

This year, we’re collecting for:

  • Children and families at Emmanuel’s Mooring Line Drive and Oil Well Road campuses

  • Calusa Park Elementary School, one of our local Collier County schools

We believe every child deserves to start the school year prepared—not worrying about basic supplies.

Thank you for being a blessing to our students. Together, we’re helping them start the year strong!
