Oil Well Road Updates

BACK-TO-SCHOOL BLESSING

It’s hard to believe August is already here—which means it’s time for our children to head back to school! This Sunday, August 3, we will celebrate our children and bless the start of another school year during worship.

We also have a special surprise for all children in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Don’t miss this special moment of encouragement, prayer, and blessing for our students.

RADICAL GIVING CHALLENGE - SHARE YOUR STORY!

Last week, we unveiled our Radical Giving event—and what an amazing moment it was! We distributed $10,000 across our worship communities—Mooring Line Drive, Oil Well Road, and Emmanuel Community Church.

Each person received an envelope containing $25, $50 or $100, along with a challenge: Spread kindness in a Radical way.

Whether you chose to bless a charity, help someone in need, surprise a stranger, or encourage a friend, your gift has the power to create ripples of generosity. You could even add to your amount or invite friends and family to join in the giving spirit.

Now, we want to hear about your Radical Moment! Send your stories and photos to elc@naplesemmanuel.org so we can share the inspiration with our congregation.

Let’s fill the world with joy—one radical act of giving at a time!

SUMMER BIBLE CAMP 2025

This year’s Summer Bible Camp theme was: “God’s Word comes near.”
“The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart.” —Romans 10:8

We enjoyed a fun and faith-filled week with 18 amazing kids and 4 dedicated counselors from Luther Springs. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this year’s camp. I truly believe that camp transforms lives—and we’ve already seen the excitement it sparked in our campers.

The children who attended came from Emmanuel Park Church and the surrounding community. Many have already started asking about next year’s camp!

SUMMER BBQ & POOL PARTY - A GREAT TIME FOR ALL.

Recently, we gathered for a wonderful afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun! Our grill master, André, served up some finger-licking chicken, perfectly complemented by delicious side dishes prepared by his wife, Shi, and members of our congregation.

After enjoying the meal, we cooled off in the pool and soaked up the summer sunshine. It was the perfect combination of good food, great company, and refreshing fun.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success!

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

INTRODUCING THE SUNDAY SNAPSHOT:

We’re excited to introduce the Sunday Snapshot — a video featuring the Gospel reading and sermon from Sunday’s service.

Whether you missed worship or simply want to revisit the message, the Sunday Snapshot offers a quick and meaningful way to stay connected and reflect on the week’s teaching.

Watch anytime and share with others who may need a word of encouragement!

MODULAR UPDATE: Some supplies are scheduled to arrive on-site this Monday. On Tuesday, the team from Advanced Modular will begin work on building the pad and running the electrical conduit.

The delivery date for the modular unit is still being finalized, but we’ll share an update as soon as it’s confirmed.

Thanks for your continued patience! We will share images of the progress over the coming weeks!
