Oil Well Road Updates

CELEBRATING THEIR FIRST COMMUNION!

Last Sunday, September 14, our congregation had the joy of celebrating Raina and Ian’s First Communion! As part of Emmanuel’s tradition, they each baked bread during their instruction, which was then shares at worship. This was a meaningful and joy-filled milestone in their walk of faith, we give thanks and invite you to join us in praying for God’s presence in their journey.

MODULAR AND SIGNAGE UPDATE: Big steps forward for both the sign and the new worship space over the past week!

Work continues on the new worship space for Emmanuel Church at Oil Well Road. The new parking lot and concrete walkway were staked out the other day in preparation for the pouring of concrete and the completion of the parking area.

The assembly of our sign is underway at our contractor's shop. We are working with them to schedule the installation.

CANDIDATE SEARCH UPDATE!

The Call Committee at Emmanuel Church at Oil Well Road has been prayerfully working to find a pastor to guide and lead us. After much prayer, phone calls, and networking, we recently interviewed a candidate we believe is well qualified and may be a good fit. We are in the very early stages with this person, so stay tuned and keep on praying for this important and holy endeavor.

MEET SABRA MALARY

We are excited to share that Sabra will be assisting Deacon Dee Schleutker with Children’s Sunday School at Emmanuel Church. She feels blessed to bring together her love for faith, teaching, and children’s ministry. With a heart for service, Sabra looks forward to guiding our youngest members as they grow in their faith and experience the love of Christ in meaningful ways.

When you see Sabra, please give her a warm welcome!

RADICAL MOMENTS! Bruce and Bev Ranstrom added money to the $25 radical giving envelope and donated $100 to the Northside School of Music in north Minneapolis. It is a non- profit organization dedicated to making music lessons accessible and affordable to all people with limited resources. Thus, Emmanuel has stretched its impact far from Naples.Make it stand out

Abigail chose to donate her radical giving envelope of $100 to Naples Humane Society, which pays for the complete adoption of one animal.

David and Lea chose to add to their "money " and give a new computer to Lucas Hiers. Lucas works at Glenview and we admire his work ethic and willingness to always do his best. Lucas graduated from S. Fort Myers High School. He is a freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University. His computer was old therefore he could not connect with all of his classes.
