THIS SUNDAY IS “THANK YOU SUNDAY” FOR OUR WORSHIP VOLUNTEERS

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate and recognize the dedicated volunteers who help make Emmanuel a caring and generous church family. This special recognition includes those who serve in Sunday worship, special events, and office ministries. We are truly grateful for the time and talents you share.

Each volunteer will be acknowledged and receive a small gift as a token of our appreciation for the love and dedication you bring to your service at Emmanuel.

We are deeply thankful for all that you do!

If you are interested in volunteering in the future, please see Julie Basile on Sunday morning during hospitality or email her at Julie@NaplesEmmanuel.org

QUILT SUNDAY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

If you attended church last week, you were able to see the many colorful quilts our quilting group made this past year. It was a beautiful sight and a meaningful reminder of their faithful work. In addition to sending quilts to Lutheran World Relief, our quilters also provide quilts to local organizations and graduating high school students and to those being baptized in our congregation. We also had a great Sunday Forum where people were able to watch a demonstration by the quilters. Click here to see the video.

Pictured here are our graduating high school seniors receiving their quilts. As they head off to school later this year, they will carry with them the comfort of knowing that Emmanuel holds them in prayer.

Thank you to those who have already generously donated to the quilters! For those who were unable to attend, the quilters are always grateful for donations of fabric, embroidery thread, and batting. Monetary donations are also welcome. Checks may be mailed to 777 Mooring Line Dr., Naples, FL 34102 with “Quilters” written in the memo, placed in the offering plate, or made online by clicking the link below.

Thank you for your continued support of this caring ministry.

JOIN OUR BOOK CLUB: FEBRUARY 9th

All are welcome to attend! Join us in Room 2 at 2:00 PM on February 9th as we discuss The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store by James McBride.

Set in a small Pennsylvania town, this richly layered novel weaves together themes of community, justice, and compassion as long-buried secrets come to light. Through unforgettable characters and a powerful story, McBride invites readers to reflect on what it means to care for one another and to stand together in the face of injustice.

We hope you’ll join the conversation!
