Mooring Line Dr. Updates
EXCITING CHAPEL AND SANCTUARY REFRESH UPDATE!
Great progress is being made on our chapel refresh project! After addressing some mold issues in the chapel, we’re thrilled to see fresh paint, a new rug, updated lighting, and special accents around the cross all coming together beautifully. The chapel will soon be a welcoming space for prayer, reflection, and meaningful one-on-one conversations throughout the week, with hopes for its active use on Sunday mornings before and after worship.
We’re also excited to announce that the sanctuary refresh is now mostly complete, with just a few final lighting updates left to finish. Both projects have been made possible through the generosity of a donor who pledged to fund them entirely, ensuring that no monies came out of the general fund. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Stay tuned for more updates!
THIS SUNDAY IS STEPHEN MINISTRY SUNDAY: Emmanuel Lutheran Church Stephen Minister Mission is
to provide compassionate one-to-one Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties. Our Stephen Ministers are available to meet with you in your home – for a moment of Scripture, a few minutes of deep listening, or even to bring you or your loved one Holy Communion. Nothing is solved without Jesus. A Stephen Minister walks with Jesus to be by your side – for as short or long as you need it!
If you or someone you know is going through a difficult chapter in life – let us know, and we can provide Christ-centered care as often or less frequently as needed.
If you would like to discuss training and serving as a Stephen Minister, please contact Julie at 239-261-0894 x 307 or email her at Julie@NaplesEmmanuel.org.
We would like to thank all our Stephen Ministers for their devoted service and their continuing education to help those going through a difficult time. Click the link below to watch this week’s Sunday Forum to learn more about Stephen Ministry and to hear from the experiences of some of our Stephen Ministers.
FOOD PACKING EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS!
Our Food Packing Event at Emmanuel was an incredible success! In just 90 minutes, we packed 20,000 oatmeal breakfast meals, all of which will be distributed right here in Collier County to help those in need.
A huge thank you to the 91 volunteers and Emmanuel staff who gave their time and energy to make this happen. It was not only a chance to serve our community but also an opportunity to share a meal and build connections with one another.
Together, we are making a difference!
HOLY WEEK AT EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH: A Journey through Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection
Welcome to Holy Week! This sacred time invites us to walk with Jesus from His entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the glory of His resurrection on Easter Sunday. Each service tells part of the story, and just as you wouldn’t miss a page in a captivating book, you shouldn’t miss any of these services. Each one deepens our understanding of God’s love and the hope of the resurrection.
Why You Shouldn't Miss Any of the Services. Holy Week is a continuous story. Each service — from Palm Sunday to Easter — invites us to experience Christ's love and sacrifice. To fully appreciate Easter, we must walk with Jesus through His suffering, death, and resurrection. Every service builds on the last, deepening our faith and hope.
2025 LENT AT EMMANUEL - “GIVING UP” : 2025 LENT AT EMMANUEL - “GIVING UP” : Lent is a season of reflection, repentance, and renewal. It is a time when we journey with Christ to the cross, letting go of the things that hinder our faith and opening ourselves to God's grace. This Lent, we invite you to embrace the theme "Giving Up". God would like to help and guide us to give up control, expectations, superiority, enemies, and our lives. Join us on this journey - see you in worship!
Letting Go of Superiority and Embracing Humility in Christ. As we journey together in faith, this week's theme, "Giving Up Superiority," invites us to examine the ways we elevate ourselves above others—whether consciously or unconsciously—and instead adopt Christ-like humility.
