HOLY WEEK AT EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH: A Journey through Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection

Welcome to Holy Week! This sacred time invites us to walk with Jesus from His entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the glory of His resurrection on Easter Sunday. Each service tells part of the story, and just as you wouldn’t miss a page in a captivating book, you shouldn’t miss any of these services. Each one deepens our understanding of God’s love and the hope of the resurrection.

Why You Shouldn't Miss Any of the Services. Holy Week is a continuous story. Each service — from Palm Sunday to Easter — invites us to experience Christ's love and sacrifice. To fully appreciate Easter, we must walk with Jesus through His suffering, death, and resurrection. Every service builds on the last, deepening our faith and hope.

CELEBRATING OUR GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS! 🎓

This past Sunday, Emmanuel honored five of our graduating high school seniors with a special gift from the heart. Thanks to the beautiful work of our Emmanuel Quilting Ministry, each senior received a handmade quilt—a warm and meaningful reminder that they are forever wrapped in the love, prayers, and support of their church family.

Seniors attending Emmanuel Lutheran Church received their quilts in the breezeway, surrounded by family, friends, and the Emmanuel community. At Emmanuel Community Church, quilts were presented at the beginning of the service. For those attending our Park Church, Lucy Ramsey, one of our quilters, personally delivered the quilts with blessings and heartfelt congratulations.

We are so proud of these young men and women as they step into a new chapter of their lives. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they move forward, carrying the love of their Emmanuel family with them wherever they go!

Congratulations to our 2025 high school graduates:

  • ELC: Isabella Graney, Jayden Wampler, Ty Jakubielski

  • ECC Community: Alina Laranquent

  • EPC: Savanah Sallee

CANDIDATE SEARCH UPDATE:

The Emmanuel Park Call Committee is hard at work! With guidance from the Synod and support from our consultant, the committee continues to actively seek, review, and evaluate potential candidates for our next pastor.

If you know someone who might be a great fit for this role, we’d love to hear from you! Please feel free to share any recommendations.

Thank you for your prayers and support during this important process.

SITE DEVELOPMENT AND MODULAR UPDATE: Making Steady Progress! We’re continuing to move forward, step by step, as we collaborate with the county on the insubstantial change to our Site Development Plan.

  • Design Finalized – The layout for doors, windows, electrical outlets, and lighting is now complete.

  • Next Steps – Our focus now shifts to selecting colors for the carpet, walls (interior & exterior), trim, and other finishing touches.

  • Engineering in Progress – The manufacturer is preparing critical structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings needed for our future building permit application.

Thank you for your patience and support as we bring this project to life!
