EXCITING NEWS: FAMILY LIFE CENTER RENOVATION BEGAN JUNE 9!
We’re thrilled to announce that starting Monday, June 9, Garrett Construction began a major renovation of our Family Life Center —a transformation that will enhance both the beauty and functionality of this important space for years to come.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming:
All-new doors and windows for a refreshed and welcoming look.
The stage will be extended by three feet, providing more room for worship, performances, and presentations.
The soffit above the stage will be removed, improving visibility and creating a more open, engaging feel.
A beautiful new hospitality area will be added for fellowship and connection.
Stonework matching our sanctuary will be installed on both the east and west walls, adding warmth and continuity.
The folding wall into the Community Room will be removed.
Decorative ceiling beams and three elegant chandeliers will enhance the atmosphere.
All walls and wainscoting will be freshly painted, with new carpet, artwork, and flowerpots adding vibrant touches.
The Community Room kitchen will be renovated.
The Main Kitchen will be modestly renovated refreshed cleaned up and better organized.
New AV equipment will be installed, including an additional camera for enhanced live streaming.
Bathrooms and the back entryway will be completely renovated.
All of our tables (including rectangular ones) will be replaced with brand-new furniture.
This project is possible because of your faithful prayers, generous giving, and ongoing support. Thank you! We will continue to keep you updated as the work progresses.
Our newly refreshed chapel. Enjoy the photographs, but better yet—come and experience it in person. We can’t wait to welcome you into this special new chapter in the life of our congregation.
COME SEE THE NEWLY REFRESHED CHAPEL!
We’re excited to share that the Chapel refresh is complete—and it’s more beautiful than we can describe! While photos offer a glimpse, they can’t fully capture the peace and sacredness of the space. We invite you to come see it for yourself.
Thanks to the generosity of a donor through our Capital Campaign, this meaningful transformation has created a space for prayer, reflection, and community—a place where faith can be renewed and hearts can find rest.
The chapel is now open for:
Personal prayer and quiet visits
Moments of reflection after worship
Future life events that draw us together in faith and love
Stephen Ministers will also be available in the Chapel after worship each Sunday for anyone who would like a quiet prayer, blessing, or moment of care.

LAST WEEK WE AWARDED ELEVEN STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION! The Committee selected these students based on their active involvement in church life, participation in youth ministry, commitment to serving the community, and dedication to their educational goals.
Since its inception 16 years ago, the scholarship program has awarded 86 scholarships—this year’s total of $9,500 brings the cumulative disbursement to an inspiring $96,000.
Please join us in praying for these exceptional young people as they embark on the next exciting chapter of their journey. We are incredibly proud of each of them!
This meaningful program exists thanks to the vision and generosity of our founding partners, Marge Herbst and her late husband, Charlie, along with many others who have faithfully supported the fund over the years. If you would like to contribute to the Youth Scholarship Fund and help invest in the future of our young people, please make your check payable to Emmanuel Lutheran Church and write “Youth Scholarship” in the memo line or click on the link below to donate online.
Thank you for helping us encourage and equip the next generation!
