ENDOWMENT COMMITTEE SEEKING NEW MEMBERS | LAST CALL!
The Emmanuel Lutheran Church Endowment Committee is currently looking for three new members to join this meaningful ministry.
Formed around the year 2000, the committee helps review, approve, and fund outreach ministry programs and non-budgeted church expenses, as well as oversee the investment of Endowment Funds. Through the years, the fund has supported youth scholarships, contributed to relief efforts in Ukraine through Lutheran World Relief, and helped sponsor the recent Radical Giving event.
If you feel called to serve, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining us.

PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY - AND A GIFT FROM EMMANUEL!
This past Tuesday, our Director of Marketing and Communications, Joy Lillejord, served as Principal for the Day at Calusa Park Elementary—and she came “bear”ing gifts! 🐻 (Calusa Park Black Bears)
She was thrilled to present a $1,000 check, made possible through a grant from the Wawa Foundation that Emmanuel helped secure. This generous gift will help Emmanuel and the Calusa Park Elementary community continue their amazing work in building a stronger, more connected community!
She spent the day visiting classrooms, meeting students of all ages, and joining them in their learning experiences—a wonderful reminder of the impact we can make when faith and community come together.
THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER HAS A NEW NAME!
We’re excited to share that the Family Life Center is now the Life Center!
This new name better reflects our vision for the space—a welcoming, multipurpose gathering place for everyone in our church community. Whether it’s for fellowship, learning, service, or celebration, the Life Center is a place where all are invited to connect and grow together.
LIFE CENTER REFRESH UPDATE
We’re just 10 days away from the grand opening of our newly renovated Life Center—formerly the Family Life Center! Excitement is building as we put the finishing touches on this beautiful new space. Our team is hard at work completing the AV setup, final details in the bathrooms and kitchen, and a few last design touches. Meanwhile, the church itself is looking fantastic with its freshly painted exterior! We can’t wait to celebrate together and see how God will use these refreshed spaces for ministry, fellowship, and community.
We are deeply grateful to a generous donor who has made this entire project possible through the capital campaign, as all costs have been covered in full by their gift. No general funds have been used for this renovation.
