CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL: GROW WITH US
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed… Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree.” – Matthew 13:31-32
Last Sunday, our children learned firsthand how faith begins small but can grow into something amazing. Together, they planted seeds in our garden bed — a simple yet powerful reminder of how God’s love takes root in our hearts and flourishes as we nurture it.
We can’t wait to see both the seeds and the children’s faith grow in the weeks to come!
MODULAR PROGRESS AT OIL WELL ROAD!
Exciting progress continues as our contractors prepare the sanctuary at Emmanuel Church, Oil Well Road, for worship!
This week, wiring for audio, video, and satellite broadband was installed, along with detailed interior trim work. Work has also begun on skirting around the base of the building.
Looking ahead, next week will bring electrical connections and the installation of steps and ramp access, followed by carpet installation. Once the ramp is in place, cement walkways will be framed and poured. At the same time, the draft fire hydrant line will be completed and the parking lot expansion finalized.
Following the expansion, our landscaping partners, Yellowstone Landscape, will bring the grounds to life with plantings and irrigation updates. Meanwhile, our A/V team from Harmon will return to install the PTZ camera, screens, speakers, and control desk — all to ensure a high-quality worship experience.
We are so grateful for the steady progress and can’t wait to welcome you into this beautiful new worship space soon!
FIRST COMMUNION: September 14th
On Sunday, September 14, we will celebrate Raina and Ian’s First Communion! As part of Emmanuel’s tradition and their First Communion instruction, Raina and Ian have each baked bread that will be served during communion that day.
