JOIN US FOR STEPHEN MINISTRY SUNDAY | March 15

On March 15, we will honor our Stephen Ministers and thank them for the meaningful care they provide to members of our congregation.

Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry that equips congregation members to provide confidential, Christ-centered care to people experiencing life difficulties such as grief, divorce, job change or loss, a new medical diagnosis, chronic illness, or loneliness.

Stephen Ministers are trained volunteers who offer a listening ear, prayer, and emotional and spiritual support. They typically meet with care receivers once a week for about an hour, either in the home or another comfortable setting. They are also trained to bring Holy Communion to those who are homebound or in care facilities or hospitals.

Our chapel Stephen Ministry program also offers personal prayer before and after Sunday services.

If you are interested in receiving care, know someone who may benefit from spiritual support, or would like more information about becoming a Stephen Minister, please contact julie@naplesemmanuel.org
