Back-to-School Celebration Recap
This past Sunday, our church family came together for a wonderful Back-to-School Celebration, with more than 100 people in attendance! It was a joyful day filled with fellowship, fun, laughter, and celebration for children and adults alike.
We were especially delighted to welcome 24 children, ranging in age from just 15 days old—little Nicolas!—to 10 years old, along with more than 10 teenagers. What a blessing to see so many of our young people filling the church with energy and joy!
The children had an absolute blast enjoying all the games and activities prepared by Deacon Jim Cooper. Their laughter and excitement filled the room and brought so much joy to everyone who joined in the celebration.
And, as always, the food was fabulous! Everyone enjoyed delicious tacos and ice cream, making a wonderful afternoon even sweeter.
We are especially grateful for the young people in our congregation who helped set up the tables for lunch and stayed afterward to help clean up. Everyone worked together to leave the Life Center clean and ready for our next gathering. What a blessing to see our church family serving together!
We are truly blessed to belong to a congregation of faithful brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus who make it possible for us to celebrate our children, encourage them, and bless them as they begin another school year.
Our prayer and desire is that each of our children will have a year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and many joyful experiences, always trusting in the Lord and walking with Jesus.
What a blessing to see our church family serving, celebrating, and enjoying one another together! Days like this remind us that church is more than a place we worship—it is a family where generations come together, share in the joy, and care for one another.
A heartfelt thank-you to Emmanuel Lutheran Church for allowing us to be part of this wonderful family and for supporting us as we minister to and celebrate our children. Your love and encouragement make a difference in the lives of our young people and their families. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Back-to-School Celebration such a wonderful success.
