A Beautiful Night of Brazilian Music & Fellowship
What a wonderful evening at Emmanuel! Our Couples Gathering brought our community together for a special night of music, reflection, faith, and fellowship.
The evening featured a Brazilian music concert by guitarist and vocalist Everton Vidal Azevedo, who shared the sounds of Brazil through bossa nova, samba, and MPB favorites including Trem das Onze, Corcovado, Garota de Ipanema, and Flor de Lis, among others. Everton was joined throughout the concert by several special guests: Nazareth, one of Emmanuel’s vocalists; guest violinist María Clara; and his daughter Julia, who joined him for a special father-and-daughter song.
The gathering also included a moment of prayer in remembrance of the heroes of September 11, along with brief reflections for couples on communication, love, and faith.
The evening concluded with a delicious dinner and time to relax, talk, and enjoy one another’s company. We are grateful to everyone who participated and helped make it such a warm and memorable evening for our Emmanuel family!
Una Hermosa Noche de Música Brasileña y Comunidad.
¡Qué hermosa noche vivimos en Emmanuel! Nuestro Encuentro de Parejas reunió a la comunidad para compartir una velada especial de música, reflexión, fe y compañerismo.
La noche contó con un concierto de música brasileña a cargo del guitarrista y cantante Everton Vidal Azevedo, quien compartió los sonidos de Brasil a través de la bossa nova, la samba y la MPB, interpretando clásicos como Trem das Onze, Corcovado, Garota de Ipanema y Flor de Lis, entre otros. Durante el concierto, Everton estuvo acompañado por invitadas especiales: Nazareth, una de las vocalistas de Emmanuel; la violinista invitada María Clara; y su hija Julia, quien se unió a él para compartir una canción especial entre padre e hija.
El encuentro también incluyó un momento de oración en memoria de los héroes del 11 de septiembre, junto con breves reflexiones para las parejas sobre la comunicación, el amor y la fe.
La noche concluyó con una deliciosa cena y un tiempo para conversar, compartir y disfrutar juntos. Agradecemos a todos los que participaron y ayudaron a hacer de esta una velada tan cálida y memorable para nuestra familia Emmanuel
