Education at Emmanuel
LECTIONARY PLUS :
Watch and Reflect as we learn about the Holy Trinity; how it is an invitation to understanding the mystery of God as a gift and not a mystery to be solved.
Take a moment to watch this week’s video message from Pastor Rick Bliese as he shares insights on this Sunday’s Scripture lessons. His reflections will help you prepare your heart and mind for worship.
Let the Word speak to you in a fresh way as we come together in faith this Sunday!
This week’s readings:
Scripture Reading: John 16: 12-15
Gospel: Romans 5:1-5
SUNDAY FORUM:
Join Rev. Dr. Rick Bliese for this week's Sunday Forum as we prepare for Holy Trinity Sunday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church! How should we approach the Holy Trinity not as a puzzle to solve but as good news to receive - watch the video to find out.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the Sunday Forum will not meet this Sunday. We will resume on Sunday, June 22. Thank you for your understanding—we look forward to seeing you next week!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Happy Hour Returns!

THURSDAY BIBLE STUDY UPDATE: Last week, Pastor Richard Bliese kicked off a brand-new Bible Study series centered on Rob Bell’s What is the Bible. The group began their journey through the book by exploring Part 1, covering chapters 1–3. Click here to see class notes from June 5.
The class will resume on Thursday, June 19 with Rob Bell’s book, Part 1, chapters 4, 5, 6.
If you missed this week’s session, this break is a great opportunity to catch up! You can watch the recording of the June 5 class, pick up a copy of the book, and read through chapter 6 to prepare for the next discussion.
What is the Bible is a thought-provoking exploration of Scripture, offering new perspectives on how the Bible continues to speak into our lives today.
Books are available in the church office for $10, or may be purchased on Amazon.
Let’s continue growing in faith and understanding—we look forward to seeing you on June 19!
