We give thanks for the ministry of Kathleen Osborn Gerdes, who has shared her gifts and leadership with Emmanuel through our music ministry. Kathleen has decided to resign her position to pursue a new opportunity at her husband’s church, where she can worship alongside him and take on reduced responsibilities. We are grateful for the friendships and fellowship she has nurtured here and wish her every blessing in this next chapter. Kathleen’s final Sunday at Emmanuel will be October 5.
FAMILY LIFE CENTER RENOVATION UPDATE
God is truly blessing the work on our Family Life Center! Each week brings exciting progress. By the end of this week, all of the new windows and doors will be in place, bringing fresh light and openness into the space. The bathrooms are taking shape, painting is brightening up the Center and stage, and steady progress continues in both the kitchen and community room.
We give thanks for the hands at work and for the way the Lord is providing. Please continue to keep this project in your prayers as we look forward to all the ministry opportunities this renewed space will make possible!
ALF LARSON CELEBRATES HIS 101st BIRTHDAY!
We are thrilled to share that Alf Larson has just celebrated his 101st birthday! What a wonderful milestone. We give thanks for his life and faith. May God’s blessings and joy continue to surround him in the year ahead.
