YOU’RE INVITED!
Pastor Rick Bliese and Howard Isaacson will be leading an Emmanuel Lutheran Global Seminary trip from January 13 -22, 2026 to visit the Lutheran Church in Rwanda and witness the impact of our ministry. We will spend a day in Istanbul's historic district on our way, two days on safari in Akagera National Park (lions, rhinos, giraffe, wart hogs, etc.) and three days in Kigali, witnessing our impact on pastors and ministries we have supported (plus sightseeing, shopping and great eating!)
The cost is projected at $3,500, which includes airfare, transfers, accommodations, food, and the safari.
Please contact Pastor Bliese at PastorRick@NaplesEmmanuel.org for more information.
PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
Thank you, Pastors! During this month of appreciation, we give thanks for your faithful leadership, compassion, and the many ways you guide and care for our congregation. Your words inspire, your prayers uplift, and your presence reminds us of God’s constant love and grace.
May God continue to strengthen and bless you in every season of ministry and life. We are truly grateful for all that you do!
REFORMATION SUNDAY - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26th!
Reformation Sunday commemorates the day Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on October 31, 1517, in Wittenberg, Germany—a bold call to discuss and reform church practices, especially the sale of indulgences. This pivotal moment marked a rediscovery of the “good news” of salvation by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, rather than by works.
One of the lasting legacies of the Reformation was Luther’s translation of the Bible into German, making God’s Word accessible to all people. The color for Reformation Sunday is red, symbolizing the Holy Spirit, power, and fire.
Join us next Sunday as we celebrate this historic day—and don’t forget to wear red!
FAMILY LIFE CENTER RENOVATION UPDATE
Work is progressing steadily in the Family Life Center. The AV team has been busy installing new speakers and cameras, while the sound booth undergoes a full renovation. Painting continues throughout the space, and the new cross has been installed on the stage—it will be beautifully backlit, similar to the one in the sanctuary.
In the kitchen, new wall coverings are being installed, and preparations are underway for the flooring, which will be redone next week. Carpeting is scheduled to be installed by the end of this week. Renovations are also ongoing in the bathrooms and other community areas, ensuring that every part of The Family Life Center will be refreshed and welcoming.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 - ALL SAINTS SUNDAY
Come worship with us on All Saints Sunday, November 2, 2025 as we remember and give thanks for all the saints—those who have gone before us in faith and those who continue to walk beside us today. As a sign of hope and resurrection, we invite you to wear white as we celebrate the light of Christ that shines through every generation of believers.
