RADICAL GIVING CHALLENGE – SHARE YOUR STORY!
Here are some more inspiring stories—and more keep coming!
Linda shared that she chose to quadruple her Radical Giving money to support The Empty Bowl Naples (https://emptybowlsnaples.com), an organization that has been raising funds for 20 years to fight hunger in our community. The annual Empty Bowls event, held entirely by volunteers, brings people together each January to support local hunger-relief agencies.
In addition to her donation, Linda also joined in painting a plate that will be auctioned at the upcoming event on January 17, 2026, in Cambier Park. She described it as a wonderful experience! What a fantastic way to combine creativity, community, and compassion to make a difference.
Karen and Bob donated our $100 to the Tiger Fire Relief Fund. The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida suffered a fire that destroyed some homes, tribal art and historic artifacts, as well as their community center.
David added to his Radical Giving envelope to donate $500 to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
We can’t wait to share even more stories next week. Keep them coming, and let’s continue to inspire each other through generosity!
Send your stories and photos to elc@naplesemmanuel.org so we can share the inspiration with our congregation.
Let’s fill the world with joy—one radical act of giving at a time!
SUNDAY SNAPSHOT
We’re excited to share a new way to stay connected during the week: Sunday Snapshot — a short weekly video featuring the Gospel reading and sermon from Sunday’s service.
Whether you weren’t able to attend or simply want to hear the message again, the Sunday Snapshot offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and carry God’s Word with you throughout the week.
Watch anytime — and feel free to pass it along to friends or family who could use a word of hope and encouragement!
FAMILY LIFE CENTER RENOVATION UPDATE - WEEK 11
Exciting progress continues on our Family Life Center!
Stonework has begun on the east and west walls, adding beautiful new character to the space.
The faux painting of the beams is now complete, bringing warmth and style to the room.
Work is steadily moving forward in both main bathrooms as well as the community room bathroom.
Construction remains on schedule for the new hospitality area and AV booth.
Crews are preparing to remove several old windows and doors to make way for the updated design.
We are also working on the final plans to refresh the kitchen, which will be an exciting improvement for future events and fellowship.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we move closer to completing these renovations.
