CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2026 YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

We are pleased, once again, to congratulate the recipients of Emmanuel’s 2026 Youth Scholarship Awards. These outstanding students were recognized last Sunday, May 31, during Youth Scholarship Sunday for their dedication to their faith, service to others, and commitment to their educational goals.

This year, Emmanuel’s Youth Scholarship Committee selected nine deserving students based on their involvement in church life, service to the community, and academic aspirations. Congratulations to Ty Jakubielski, Lauren Puchalla, Nazareth Ruiz, Christopher Fernandez, Jayden Wampler, Savanah Salle, Matthew Lillejord, Olivia Cunningham, and Zach Sonneborn. These students received their awards during worship and participated throughout the service by sharing their gifts and leadership with the congregation.

This scholarship program is made possible through grants from Emmanuel’s Endowment Fund and the generosity of many faithful supporters over the years, especially our founding partners, Marge and Charlie Herbst.

Now in its 17th year, Emmanuel’s Youth Scholarship Program has awarded 106 scholarships. This year, $15,500 was awarded to students pursuing higher education, bringing the total amount distributed through the program to $111,500.

We ask that you keep these students in your prayers as they begin or continue the next chapter of their educational journey. We are proud of their achievements, grateful for their leadership within our church community, and excited for the future that lies ahead for each of them.

We also invite you to consider making a donation to the Youth Scholarship Fund. Your support helps ensure that future generations of Emmanuel youth will have the same opportunities to pursue their educational goals while remaining connected to their faith and church community.
