Blended Worship Service
@ Mooring Line Drive
Welcome to our blended worship service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where the rich blend of traditional and contemporary music intertwines to create a sacred experience for all. Join us as we gather in fellowship, inviting you to embrace the timeless hymns that have echoed through generations alongside the vibrant melodies that speak to our present hearts. Together, we will lift our voices in harmony, celebrating both the familiar and the new, allowing the beauty of each style to enrich our worship and deepen our connection with God. Let us open our hearts and minds, ready to be moved by the spirit. See you on Sunday where we welcome all!

David Lillejord
Senior Pastor
Pastor David Lillejord accepted a call to serve Emmanuel in 2024.
Pastor Lillejord is a graduate of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and has served 4 congregations in Minnesota before his call to Emmanuel. He is excited to join the staff and the congregation as, together, we live out our faith in daily life.
Pastor Lilllejord and wife, Joy, have been blessed with three children, Jacob, Rachel, and Matthew. (Ruby, our dear little dog, is an official member of the Lillejord family, too!) When away from the office, he enjoys spending every possible moment with his family. He also likes to play golf, watch football and movies. His favorite Bible story is The Prodigal Son.
Richard Bliese
Pastor
Richard Bliese was called to serve Emmanuel in the fall of 2018, after serving our congregation for two years as a consultant for the Kern Family Foundation from Waukesha, WI. Pastor Rick came to Emmanuel with experience as a missionary for five years in Zaire (now the Congo) and six years Germany. After completing his PH.D. on the life and writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, he went on to teach theology and mission at our ELCA seminary in Chicago (LSTC) while leading a small congregation at night (St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Glenwood, IL). He was called to lead Luther Seminary in 2003, first as Academic Dean, then as President. After ten years at Luther Seminary, Pastor Rick worked for two foundations, the Lilly Foundation as a consultant for theological seminaries in the United States and Canada ( In Trust Seminary for Theological Education in Wilmington, DE) and the Kern Family Foundation (WI) within the area of “Faith, Work and Economics.” It is within this work for the Kern Family Foundation that Pastor Rick re-engaged with the vision and work of Emmanuel Lutheran Church here in Naples.
Pastor Rick was married to Nina. They have two children, Aaron (lives in Philadelphia) and Stephanie (lives in Chicago). They also have two grandchildren, Bennett and James.
