Join Us for Emmanuel’s Lenten Worship Series – "Giving Up"

As we enter the Lenten season, we invite you to join us for a meaningful worship series at Emmanuel: "Giving Up." While many people give things up just for the season of Lent, this preaching series, beginning Sunday, will take the concept in a different direction. Each Sunday we will cover a new topic that God would like to help us give up, forever:

  1. Control 2. Expectations 3. Superiority 4. Enemies 5. Our Lives

Join us as we reflect, grow, and journey together toward Easter. We look forward to worshiping with you!

When: Sunday mornings during Lent

Where:

  • Emmanuel Lutheran Church - 777 Mooring Line Drive (9:00 AM and 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary; 11:30 AM Bilingual in the Family Life Center)

  • Emmanuel Park Church - 2770 Oil Well Road (10:00 AM under the Pavilion)

HOLY WEEK AT EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH: A Journey through Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection

Welcome to Holy Week! This sacred time invites us to walk with Jesus from His entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the glory of His resurrection on Easter Sunday. Each service tells part of the story, and just as you wouldn’t miss a page in a captivating book, you shouldn’t miss any of these services. Each one deepens our understanding of God’s love and the hope of the resurrection.

Why You Shouldn't Miss Any of the Services. Holy Week is a continuous story. Each service — from Palm Sunday to Easter — invites us to experience Christ's love and sacrifice. To fully appreciate Easter, we must walk with Jesus through His suffering, death, and resurrection. Every service builds on the last, deepening our faith and hope.
