UPDATES

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms."

1 Peter 4:10

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR WAYS TO SERVE IN OUR COMMUNITY?

We have many ways that you can help! We need volunteers to pick up bread from Panera, various positions at Grace Place, Meals of Hope distributions at Emmanuel Park, Habitat for Humanity, or you can make a casserole for St. Matthew's House. These are just a few ways you can help.

To learn more, talk to someone from our Serving Others Ministry Team: Jan Gazdic, Dennis Reustle, Carolyn Faust, Mark Fiebrink, John Rasmussen, Pat Shaulis, Michael Puchalla, Barbara Miller, Tom Funk and Deb Mackerwicz.

CASSEROLES FOR ST. MATTHEW’S HOUSE

Our Serving Others Ministry Team provides casseroles prepared by Church members to the St. Matthew’s House Shelter for the benefit of those sheltered. Please consider helping this outreach program as the need is huge!

Gina Fidler is in the office Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm and has made herself available to distribute the casserole pans, lids (and recipes if needed) and receive prepared casseroles to store in the freezer. If you bring the casserole on Sunday, you can put it in the stand - alone freezer in the kitchen. This outreach is still much needed and greatly appreciated by all of those housed in the shelter.

Please consider picking up a casserole container, or two, preparing one of the easy casserole dishes, and delivering the cooked casserole back to Gina at the Church. We will also have some containers at our drive-in service to make it even easier. We have repeatedly met our goal to prepare 50 casseroles per month. Thank you!
