SEASONAL LESONS AND CHRISTMAS CAROLS: Join us this Sunday, December 29, for a special holiday service at 9:30 AM in our sanctuary where we will have a service of seasonal lessons and Christmas carols.
WE ARE IN THE SANCTUARY!
We are excited to announce that we have had our first Sunday Worship and Christmas Eve services in the sanctuary after our “refresh”. What wonderful experiences we had! Returning to worship in a newly renovated sanctuary is a profound and uplifting experience. The refreshed space symbolizes renewal and growth, offering a fresh backdrop for gathering, prayer, and reflection. The updates, whether aesthetic or structural, enhance the environment, making it more inviting and functional for the congregation. This renewed sanctuary not only honors the traditions of the past but also paves the way for a vibrant future of worship, fellowship, and community. It serves as a reminder of the collective dedication and faith that made the transformation possible, fostering a sense of gratitude and anticipation for the journeys ahead.
NEW SUNDAY WORSHIP TIMES AND LOCATION: Beginning on Sunday, January 5, 2025, we will have our Traditional Service at 9:00 AM and we will continue our Blended Service at 10:30 AM, both in our newly refreshed Sanctuary.
DINNERS FOR 6, or 8:
This is your opportunity to connect with others from Emmanuel over a shared meal. The goal is to meet monthly from January to April, fostering fellowship among our community who may not know each other well. Each dinner is centered around prayer, scripture, and a blessing. Meals can be hosted at a home or at a restaurant (pay for your own meal). And it can be lunch, dinner or other activity (we have had groups go bowling). Sign up below!
JOIN EMMANUEL’S BOOK CLUB: We meet the second Monday of each month (November - April) at 2 PM in Classroom 2. You can enter directly into this room through the door on the north side of the church building. (It’s best to park in the back parking lot.)
