Emmanuel Park Updates

INTERVIEWING CANDIDATES FOR THE NEXT PASTOR AT THE PARK: The call committee has been very busy these past few weeks. With the help of Pastor Lillejord, we have begun to interview potential candidates for Emmanuel Park Church. Last week we interviewed a candidate, and this week we are interviewing three more. This is an exciting time, and we feel confident in the process. We will keep you posted as the discernment of this committee moves forward.  Please keep the committee members and the pastors in your life of prayers.

EMMANUEL PARK MODULAR WORSHIP BUILDING :

We are actively collaborating with engineers, contractors, vendors, and county staff to bring Emmanuel Park Church’s interim modular worship building to life. While our timeline has been adjusted, our priority remains ensuring that the structure is thoughtfully designed and fully approved for worship gatherings. Because no suitable pre-owned or leasable units exist, a brand new, custom-built unit is being crafted to serve our community’s needs for the coming years as we work to design, fund, and construct a permanent worship hall.

This custom approach allows us to incorporate enhanced design elements that improve the building’s appearance, comfort, and functionality—though it does come with some timing trade-offs. Additional delays are due to navigating Collier County’s complex construction standards, including stringent hurricane codes, zoning requirements, permitting processes, and contractor coordination.

We appreciate your continued patience and support as we strive to create a welcoming, high-quality worship space for all.
